This next week we are scheduled to paint at Ft Lincoln State Park, 4480 Fort Lincoln Rd, Mandan from 6:00PM to 8:30PM on Tuesday June 16th. Please meet in the visitor center parking lot and we will branch out from there to paint. The weather forecast suggests it may be a good night for clouds !!! You will need to have a State Park pass.

June 7th-14th, 2020- As part of our soft start due to the pandemic, our second week of season is a challenge to members to “Paint Where You Want”. If you have a favorite spot or want to try a new spot take time this week to paint where you want!

The 2020 season begins! In light of the pandemic issues, rather then gathering as a group this week, we challenge you to paint your own backyard! A good way to warm up for the season with no pressure! Do as many as you wish. We will work on a way to share these at a later time. Remember we have a show planned for July 21st!!

Congratulations to those who entered and thanks BAGA for initiating this endeavor. The works are very good and definitely represent the broad range of artistic style within the group! The Tarryl Gabel and Prairie Plein Air Artists Shows scheduled for 3-31 to 4-25, and the Tarryl Gabel plein air workshop scheduled for 4-4 at Bismarck Arts and Galleries Association are being cancelled in light of the current and ongoing health crisis.

A reminder that in conjunction with the Tarryl Gabel Show to be held at Bismarck Arts and Galleries Association from March 31st to April 25th, PPAA members will be exhibiting there works in the members gallery. An opening reception will be held on Friday evening April 3rd!

At the invitation of the Bismarck Arts and Galleries Association PPAA is having an Exhibition of plein air art in the members gallery. This is in conjunction with the Terryl Gabel show taking place in the main gallery. Dates are March 31 to April 25, 2020.

The annual potluck and fall meeting will be held at the Bismarck Arts and Galleries Association gallery on Front Street. Social begins at 5:30PM  with dinner and meeting to follow.

Members should meet at the Ft Abraham Lincoln Foundation parking lot at 401 W Main. Plan to paint from 5:00PM to 7:30PM. This will be the final scheduled paint out for 2019!
